Sato Yamamoto is a Japanese artist inspired by culture and diversity. Her own art style includes advanced printmaking and ambidextrous skills, which she perfected during her time in the U.S. Growing up in Japan, she used ambidextrous techniques to create designs of the scenic world around her. Art is a Language; she tells herself through art, if not easy, to speak all the things she feels. It would be a miracle if the American community provided a chance of her explanation, to know each other feelings.

As an individual artist activity, It was appreciated to have four Grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, Japan Women’s University, and Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. In addition to her job experience, she actively pursued artist experience in diversity community. She could learn many cultural differences and communication skills if her experience will affect local conversations in this role. She would love to provide enjoyable and understandable art communications. Her favorite media is Kimono design, printmaking, paper making, origami, fabric installation, and sustainable kimono art.
