The DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room (Room 108) services current loose periodicals, current issues of 200 popular periodicals, and 22 domestic and foreign newspapers. The remaining thousands of bound print periodicals are requested through the Rose Main Reading Room (Room 315) on the third floor. The Periodicals Room is Wi-Fi enabled.

Visiting the Collection
Can researchers access the collection without an appointment?
Patrons are welcome to enter without an appointment to use the DeWitt Wallace Periodical Room for quiet study, and to access the general collections and the Library’s loose periodicals and newspapers.
Are consultations available and are they required before making an onsite research appointment?
Consultations are available for researchers who wish to discuss their research plans. Please book a consultation with one of our librarians. You do not have to have a consultation prior to your visit to the the Periodical Room or the General Research Division.
